This is a motorized attachment that fits onto a wheelchair. The lady in the wheelchair motored up to the shop, disconnected the motorized wheel, then pushed the chair by hand around the shop. Pretty innovative!

The city center of Leiden was fantastic! I fell in love with this place in minutes. The plazas and downtown are all pedestrianized. I read on a brochure that it’s been voted one of the best city centers in Europe.
You don’t have to worry about getting hit by a car as a pedestrian in Leiden city center, because there are none on most streets.
