There were signs next to all of the outlets in the hotel airport room at Haneda warning not to use them for hairdryers.
An amusing sign at Haneda Airport. I ran it through Google Translate and it’s basically something along the lines of, “Do not berate the airport staff.”
I was surprised that payphones are apparently still a thing in Japan (or at least at Haneda Airport). I sat at the ‘free space’ next to it to work on my laptop while waiting for my connecting flight to Jakarta and observed at least 2 people use it.
The ‘view’ from the inexpensive hotel I originally booked in Jakarta. I guess you get what you pay for…
The view from the balcony of my dad’s apartment in Jakarta was much more impressive than my hotel; even with the security grate.
Trying to translate the washing machine control panel while doing laundry at my dad’s apartment in Jakarta.
An amusing name (for English speakers anyways). I looked it up and apparently it’s a company that manufactures cement and concrete for the construction industry.
