Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, a large park that features several museums and buildings exhibiting traditional culture from the many various regions and islands of Indonesia.
Many of the traditional buildings at Taman Mini are used for various functions and cultural events in addition to being museums. We started wandering through this one thinking, “Wow, this is so real and life-like - it looks like actual food and water set out on the table!” Turns out, we had accidentally ‘crashed’ a real/actual wedding celebration in progress at this particular building, wandering around thinking it was just a very realistic exhibit. Oops.
