Civilian MREs
Another COVID-19 quarantine survival technique

The current contents of my freezer
In the military, we often ate ‘Meals, Ready to Eat’ (MREs) in the field.

Showing off 'dinner' at a field exercise during my AIT training in 2006: MRE Menu #1 (Beefsteak with Mushrooms). I remember this one being one of the more palatable ones. At least it wasn't the dreaded #4 (Cheese & Vegetable Omelet) / March 15, 2006 Ft. Eustis, VA
After taking inventory of my freezer today during the ongoing coronavirus quarantine, I realized that microwave dinners are basically just MREs for civilians.
