Thank you so much for all of your efforts to help with this matter. The fact that you took the time to go to your bank and discuss with them the issue means a lot to me. It means so much to me that you care, and are working hard to make our meeting possible! My sweetheart, I know you were worried about me and this melts my heart. However, everything is OK and I have some great news! I was very busy today sorting this out, and I think I found a solution!

Thank you so much for sending the photos and the video. Yulia, it is so amazing to hear your voice for the first time. I watched it over and over and imagined how fantastic it will be to finally be together when you visit next month. I hope your travel preparations are going well. Do you have any idea when you might get your passport? I spoke with the Western Union Fraud Specialist (Daniel Williams) again today. I sent him our message photos. Unfortunately, without any sort of ID or paperwork confirming your intent travel, it is not possible to for them to clear the funds for release to Russia. However, do not worry. I know you are not comfortable sending any sort of ID. This makes things more difficult, but I also do not want to put you in a position of anything you are not comfortable with. Since you are not comfortable providing any further ID or documents to complete the verification process, I asked Mr. Williams to go ahead and just cancel the transfer, which he did. I was able to go back to the Western Union office in town and they refunded the $700 cash. Yulia, do not worry. It was not a scam. I made sure to go to an authorized Western Union agent in my town. I am not sure why your bank has not heard of these new verification procedures, but maybe it is just an administration error or miscommunication between. Perhaps Western Union offices in other countries are not familiar with these new US procedures yet. Anyways, it is not a big deal, but I am sorry that it did not work smoothly.

I tried to use the Contact system that you told me about. However, the site was entirely in Russian, and I could not find an option to change it to English. I could not understand what any of the buttons or links meant. I do not think I will be able to use this site unless it is in English. I tried clicking on all kinds of buttons to see what they did, but I could not figure out how to make an account.

Fortunately, there is another service called MoneyGram that is like Western Union. The Western Union agent told me to try it when I went to the office to get my money back from the cancelled transfer. So, I went to a location in my town that processes MoneyGram transfers. The MoneyGram agent was very helpful, and he made sure to check that there were locations in Izhevsk to pick up the money. There are several and I hope that one is close to you (I have attached a picture). You can go to MoneyGram’s website to search for location near you. You will need an ID and this reference number to pick up the $700:

Everything should be good now and I am very happy. I do not mind the extra work to sort this out. For you me sweet Yulia, it is worth it. I want to hug and kiss you so much. I was wondering if maybe we would kiss, but I was too nervous to ask such a thing. But, you mentioned our first kiss and I think it will be amazing!
