Wow, you woke up very early to work today! I hope it goes well. I know you will be free around 10 o’clock this morning, so I wanted to make sure I sent you this Email in time.

My mood was very happy this morning as a thought about our meeting. I was very eager to arrange to send the money as soon as possible. However, I encountered a few issues. I went to a Western Union office and the clerk informed me that due to increased cases of fraud, they will not process any transfers to certain countries without a copy of the recipient’s ID. In order to send the funds, I need to show them a picture of the photo page of your passport. I have attached a photo of an example photo page.

Yulia, I do not think you have your passport yet, since you have only just applied for one. This might be a problem. I think we must wait until you receive your passport before I can send the money. If you have any other type of ID, perhaps you could send a picture of it. But the passport would be best. The clerk informed me that the document in the photo must match the document you are going to use to collect the funds.

I was very annoyed by this new rule. I am sorry Yulia, I know this is frustrating. But the clerk informed me that this policy is to protect the sender and the recipient from fraud.

As soon as you are able to send me a photo of your passport, I will go back to the office and try again. I withdrew the cash from my account and have it ready to give to the Western Union representative to send. I’ve even added extra to the amount I will send to show you how much I care for you, and to help with any additional unexpected expenses.

I am so sorry for this inconvenience, but there is nothing else I can think to do except to wait until you are able to send a photo of your passport. Hopefully it is processed very quickly!

I am thinking about you as usual. I listened to Odium again today and it made me so happy since it reminds me of you.
