You are so kind to offer to cook for me. I would love to try Russian dishes that you make. I have never had kvass, but I would try it with you. Last night I was thinking about you as I drifted off to sleep. I hope that you are happy, and warm during the cold nights.

Is today the day that you will surprise your father with the Apple Charlotte? I wish that I could try some too. You are a very good daughter, to take time to visit your father. He is very lucky to have you in his life. I think that I am lucky too, to have such a beautiful woman like you care about me, and write me, and tell me nice things.

Yesterday, there were elections here. There has been a lot of speculation over who won. Frankly, I do not care. I just want COVID to be over soon so that I can travel again. Yulia, if you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Have you dreamed of seeing any other place?

I hope that your week is going well, and that your work is more interesting than it was on Monday, which you said was quite slow and boring. Are there any more children’s birthday parties to attend?
